Special volume(s) in Series: Intelligent Systems Reference Library dedicated to the memory of Professor Zdzislaw Pawlak

Editors of special volume(s) in Series: Intelligent Systems Reference Library (ISRL) invite contributions to special volume(s) dedicated to the memory of the computer science pioneer – Professor Zdzislaw Pawlak (1926-2006).

Generally known as the creator of rough set theory, Professor Zdzislaw Pawlak made numerous significant contributions to other areas as well.

We kindly invite any proposals pertaining to Professor Pawlak’s research and life. Simultaneously, papers dedicated to the Professor himself are equally welcome.

All submitted papers will be evaluated according to their technical quality, relevance, significance and clarity. The approximate page number is 20-25 pages (including figures, tables and references). The Springer LaTeX style is required for the paper format (for detailed guidelines, see:http://www.springer.com/authors/book+authors?SGWID=0-154102-12-417900-0

Important Deadlines:

l  Abstract submission due: March 25, 2011

l  Abstract acceptance notification: April 5, 2011

l  Full paper submission due: May 15, 2011

l  Paper acceptance notification: June 30, 2011
