Objective: 

The primary goal of the conference is to present state-of-the-art scientific results, encourage academic and industrial interaction, and promote collaborative research activities, in Pattern Recognition, Machine Intelligence and related fields, involving scientists, engineers, professionals, researchers and students from India and abroad. The conference is held every two years to make it an ideal platform for people to share their views and experiences in the said areas. Papers are invited in all areas of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence including but not limited to the following.

Proceedings:

All accepted papers, whose author(s) register, would be included in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series.

Special Issues: Expanded versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of reputed journals.

Tutorials: There will be six two-hour tutorials, spread over December 16 and 17, 2009. Proposal for tutorials are also invited.

Special Sessions: Conference will have sessions on specific topics of interest. Proposal for special sessions are also invited.

 

Location:

The conference will be held in the Indian Institute of Technology Campus, which is in the southern fringes of Delhi. It is close to Delhi international airport.

 

Submission Procedure:

Electronic version of full paper (four to six A4 pages including figures and tables) complete

with authors’ affiliations should be submitted:

A. Through conference website electronic submission

B. Through email:  premi09.iitdelhi@gmail.com (all submissions must be in PDF format)

C. Through snail mail: Prof. Santanu Chaudhury, Electrical Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, New Delhi – 110016, India

Papers exceeding six pages will be subjected to overlength page charges. Manuscripts must be prepared with LaTex2e (use Springer class file llncs2e.zip). See authors’ instruction in http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

 

Important Dates:  

 

Full Paper submission:   June 10, 2009

Acceptance notification:  July 15, 2009

Camera ready submission:  August 31, 2009
